Community Council

List of meeting dates for 2010:  5 May, 2 June, 7 July, no August meeting, 1 September, 6 October, 3 November, 1 December.

New Community Council appointments took effect from 1 April 2010 until 31 March 2013.   Our inaugural meeting date was 7 April 2010 and the following people make up the community council for this session:

There is a vacancy for another member to be co-opted onto the council.   If you are interested in becoming part of the community council, please make yourself known to one of the existing community councillors, or please attend the AGM on Wednesday 5 May, at 7.00 pm in the Community Centre.

Dailly Community Council holds its meetings in the Community Centre at Dailly generally on the first Wednesday of each month, at 7.00 pm.   However, normally there will be no meeting in the month of August, due to summer holidays, and the meeting in January is generally held on the second Tuesday.

There are usually nine community council members that volunteer their time and effort to be on the council.  

The council is constituted, and administered through South Ayrshire Council.  

Meetings are open and friendly, and discuss a variety of current topics that are affecting the village.   Members of the public are welcome to attend any of the meetings, but are instructed not to take part until the end of the official business, when they will be given time to express any concerns.

Often additional people are co-opted to the council – if anyone is interested in becoming involved with the Community Council, please make yourselves known to any of the community council members.

A copy of the minutes are posted on the notice board in the Community Centre.

On-Going Info and Gossip

SAC would like to know where we think salt/grit bins should be put...any ideas....so that next winter we are better prepared..

Lots of complaints about the amount of dog poo - there seems to be more and more...we now have a proper contact - Connie Lobban - please get in touch with her if you want to report dog fouling and related environmental issues - 01292 616191

The skips are back - check 'news' for dates, or look at the posters around the village.

The old suggestion box that used to be in the Post Office is now in the Library, please use it for comments and suggestions.
