About Girvan Online
Girvan Online was relaunched in June 2005 with a new look and a new focus on making it the best possible site to represent this vibrant small South Ayrshire town.
The site is packed with news, events, features and photos and aims to appeal to Girvan residents, workers, visitors and tourists alike.
The site is currently managed by a committee of volunteers who work together to develop the site's potential.
In 2008 Girvan Online piloted new event the coast attracting over 2000 visitors to the area to enjoy sports, activities and shopping within a beautiful setting.
With a big focus on being a community site, Girvan Online are keen for people of all ages to become involved and there are many opportunities to do so - whether you'd like to submit news stories, tell us about events, add your Girvan pics to the gallery or chat on our friendly forum - we welcome you all.
We offer free webspace to all Girvan community groups as well as a free training pack which allows the groups to update their own pages as they choose. Individuals who would like to volunteer to help us update the site can also benefit from this free training.
